Bezoar Ibex hunting in Turkey
Anatolian Ibex is one
of the most beautiful mountain goats. It can be successfully hunted in
Turkey. With its outstanding holiday and sightseeing opportunities,
breathtaking mountain panorama, Turkey is one of the most popular
destinations.
Male Ibex can weight
is 80-200 pounds (90-100 kg) with 40-41 inches length of horns at
average. Some outstanding trophies of 50-55 inches are taken every year
with special planning. Ibex hunting can be combined with Anatolian
Chamois and Wild boar.

How to get to Turkey |
You
have many opportunities to get to Istanbul or Antalya on
different air lines. We choose for you the best way depending on
which area you hunt. You will be met and assisted through
customs at the airport by our representatives who will take you
to hotel for overnight or directly to final destination: Akseki,
Anamur, Alanya, Finike, Koycegiz, Silifke, Pozanti, Aidiaman,
Oemirkazik. |

Hunting season |
September 1 to February 28. The optimal period is November 15 –
December 20. |

Hunting |
This
is a classic spot-and-stalk hunting. Some of the areas have
difficult terrain, and considerable climbing will be made every
day. Physical condition is an important factor for stalking
during the hunt. Tented spike camps or primitive cabins are used
with the specific goal of hunting a particular animal or area.
Rams are generally located in rugged country at 4,800-6,500 feet
/ 1,600-2,100 m. |

Base Camps |
Hunting camps range from luxury hotel to village house. You will
find good food and quality service. Skilled camp stuff makes you
feel comfortable. |

Weather |
Nice
and warm from the beginning of the season till Mid
-November. Rain starts from mid-October and it can be snowing in
November - December. February is very much like Mid-November,
December, with around 20-31 F at night and 45-50 F at daytime. |

Organization of the hunt, 1x1 guiding and assisting of the
professional hunting guides, English speaking translators, full
board accomodation, all soft and all alcoholic beverages (
during the hunt ), daily government taxes, special hunting
licences, handling services, veterinary Certificates, all land
transfers while hunting with 4x4 vehicles, land transfer from
Airport to Airport, game included in the program. |

Rates don’t include: |
Airfares,
extra drinks and extra meals, extra accomodations or holiday
requirements at the the arrival and / or departure points,
skinning (100 USD), non hunter per days hunt (150 USD),
wounded game is counted as if it were bagged, trophy
packing+shipping, missed shot (100 USD).
