First Capital of Ottomans,
BURSA
Departure by ferryboat to Yalova and drive to Bursa to visit the
first capital city of the Ottoman Empire.
In the Old City we will visit The Grand Mosque, the Green Mausoleum,
famous for its Iznik tiles, and more. We will have lunch in a
special restaurant known for its special "Iskender Kebab" recipe.
After lunch we will visit the historical Covered Bazaar and the Old
Silk Market filled with traditional handicrafts shops, followed by a
steep climb by cable car to Mt. Uludag (Olympos) to enjoy the
magnificent panoramic view overlooking Bursa. Finally, we will
continue back to Istanbul. |
