Weekly package tour - 7 Days / 7 Nights

1st Day - Istanbul / Adana (D)
Afternoon flight to Adana,
Dinner and overnight stay in Adana

2nd Day - Antioch / Antakya (B, L, D)
Drive to Antakya, the ancient city of Antioch. Visit Antakya Mosaic Museum where outstanding examples of Roman era mosaics are displayed, also visit the Grotto of St. Peter.
Dinner and overnight stay in Antakya.


 
3rd Day - Gaziantep / Adiyaman (B, L, D)
Depart in the morning for Adiyaman. Lunch in Gaziantep famed for its excellent cuisine. Afternoon tour of Gaziantep city, visiting one of the oldest habitats in the world. Here you can see the world's biggest open-air sculpture school (Zeugma).
Dinner and overnight stay in Adiyaman .
 
4th Day - Nimrod Tumulus / Adiyaman (B, L, D)
After breakfast visit Ulu Cami (Grand Mosque), the remains of a Seljuk Caravanserai and walk through the copper market. Drive to witness the panoramic view of the beautiful world famous sunset at Mt. Nimrod (Komagene) 2150m. An early wake-up is required to watch the spectacular sun-rise. Visit the sacred final resting place of Komagane (Hiprothesion) built by King Antiochus I and the famous, massive stone statue monuments. On return to Adiyaman visit Kahta Village. Dinner and overnight stay in Adiyaman.
 
5th Day - Euphrates / Urfa (B, L, D)
After breakfast drive to Urfa (Şanliurfa). Along the way, stop at one of the world largest irrigation projects, the Atatürk Dam, on the Euphrates River. Urfa is known as a city of prophets, where you will have the opportunity to visit the cave of Abraham which is considered to be his birthplace and Abraham's pool. Visit Jakob's church. Continue through Harran to Urfa. Dinner and overnight stay in Urfa.
 

6th Day - Urfa / Diyarbakir (B, L, D)
After breakfast drive to Diyarbakir via Harran, famous for its Mud-Houses. Arrive at the walled city of Diyarbakir, which was built on the banks of the Tigris River and is the largest city in South-Eastern Turkey. Stop for a closer look at the dark basalt wall surrounding the city. Visit Ulu Cami, overlooking the Mesopotamian Plain. Dinner and overnight stay in Diyarbakir.
 


7th Day - Diyarbakir / Istanbul
After breakfast: transfer to Diyarbakir Airport.
 

Departure Point: Istanbul Airport Domestic Terminal.
Departure Time: Flexible although we aim to leave Istanbul by late afternoon.
Departure Date: Daily during summer season
